We produce not only highly effective pharmaceutical but also sustainable cannabis. We have access to over 250 different cannabis strains; optionally with dominant THC or CBD profiles, as well as rare cannabinoids and terpenes. This diversity allows us to cater to all application possibilities.
No matter which variety - safety for people and the environment is in our core. That's why we at Bios Farms are committed to growing according to the strict requirements of EU-GMP and EU-GACP.
The requirements of EU-GACP (Good Agricultural and Collection Practices) oblige us to use qualified equipment and to train our employees on a regular basis. Detailed work processes enable us to trace every single flower from the customer back to the plant. Everything happening after harvest is covered by the guidelines of EU-GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Trimming, drying, packaging and storage are strictly controlled and documented.The purity of our flowers is confirmed by independent laboratories and consistently shows the same composition of active components.
Due to our location in South Africa we can already replace a large part of our electricity consumption by direct sunlight. The remaining energy in need is also provided by the sun, as all electronic devices on our farm are powered 100% by solar energy.
Nevertheless: When transporting our flowers, we emit CO₂. For this reason we at Bios Farms apply independently natural compensation measures to offset the greenhouse gases emitted. Thanks to this compensation we can call our entire business carbon-neutral.
